Hubby in big trouble!!!

Recommended Posts

My hubby lets out our chickens each morning into to there WIR's and feeds them and changes water then I clean them out about 10ish and check everything is ok and give treats in the afternoon etc and lock them up at night. Today, I had to go out early until about 1ish so I thought for once I will leave the chooks until I get back and do my chores then, knowing that they have been fed and watered etc. I slowly wandered down the garden about 1.30 only to find that my OH has not opened one of the eglus and my ex batts Lily and Rose have been locked in all day with no food and water  I immediately let them out and they were not happy at all!! gave me filthy looks and made disgruntled noises and dived straight on their food. Poor girlies!!! Hubby is in big trouble when he gets home, what are they like :roll:

I have a hubby who seems to have the same problem (must be something to do with the Y-chromosome  ). This morning I asked him to let the dogs out in the garden for a wee while I got ready to take them out for a walk. A simple task you would think, but when I got downstairs 15 minutes later there was only one dog to be found, and a rather frenzied scratching sound coming from the back door - yes, hubby had managed to lock the other dog in the garden (in the freezing cold) Really, is it that difficult to count to two?!

I stopped letting him near the chickens some time ago
