The Dogmother
all those norty spots! What were they thinking? "We're not keeping 15," she said. We don't want 15 dogs running around." I hope they get the poor dog spayed now.
Alis girls
Didnt they start off with 15 in 101 Dalmatians? Then there were a lot more (counting on fingers) yup i think the snip is the answer.
Ain't Nobody Here
Aww, how sweet . Quite a handful (or pawful) though .
craftyhunnypie
I saw this on the news & excuse me for thinking this, but I got the feeling they were in it for the money from the sale of each puppy. I don't like that! The little girl was pulling ' Patch' about a bit too much. Emma.x
The Dogmother
Of course they are in it for the money Emma - can't imagine why they didn't get a rescue dog if they felt that their poor dally wanted company. Even the mother doesn't want much to do with the pups - far too many for her and the owners will be having to give supplement feeds. They are cute, but irresponsible breeding makes me angry. Lavenders_Blue
Yes the reason given for breeding from the mum - to take her mind off the death of their pet lamb(??!!) - really doesn't seem right. Definitely in it for the £££££££££ Poor mum and poor pups, I hope they all find good homes and the Mum is spayed.
C&T
To be fair, I doubt they planned or expected 15 pups, and no-one would ever be able to keep that many. A (single) litter of 5-7, keeping a couple and finding the others some good homes (assuming that they didn't already have a couple of homes lined up) isn't unreasonable. The mum isn't too young or old either I don't think? Although admit going to a rescue centre to get a friend would be a way of helping the growing number of unwanted pets rather than breeding more dogs.
