keyhole kate
Just got back from Norfolk, OH and I went to close the caravan for winter OH pointed out a notice in the local supermarket Silkie Chicks £5.00 :shock There was a fleeting moment of temptation before prudence stepped in and reminded me that I want to wait till spring before increasing my flock. I'm feeling quite pleased with myself for resisting silkies and a bargain
Saronne
Haha! I had to re-read this as I wondered who this 'Prudence' was! (Literal interpretation time!)
Olly
Prudence and Patience are two friends who are sometimes forgotten, but should definitely be consulted when chicken purchases are under consideration!

The Dogmother
I too have chickens called Prudence and Patience, named after two friends who I ought to heed more often. I think that I might call the next chicken Thrift
