It's very good, produced by the same company that made The Killing.

I love the twists in this one and the Characters even though it was strange seeing Meyer and Strange in different roles.

I managed to get myself very confused - as the actors who played Meyer and Strange in the Killings look very alike I thought that the politician was married to the TV Producer

 

All sorted now - have watched Episode 1 - very likeable main character

Just watched the first 2 episodes back to back. Very promising.

 

As well as 'Strange' and 'Meyer', the woman playing 'Hanne' looked awfully familiar ... and there was another 'Troels' to add to the confusion.

Yes, she was in the last series of The Killing. Am so glad I'm not the only one who's been a bit confused

Well, Borgen has finished. What did you all think. I loved it - well written drama with totally believable characters, not all Hollywood pretty and covered in make up.

 

When Birgitte was called in urgently to the office while she was at home she arrived with hair just s"Ooops, word censored!"ed back and not a s"Ooops, word censored!" of make up on.Brilliant. Everyone looks normal - some plain, some pretty but mostly just ordinary.

 

I am so cross with Phillip ! He is married to the Prime Minister for goodness sake so he has to take a back seat while she is in office - it won't be for ever. Admittedly she has neglected her home life and become a bit dictatorial even there. It is not as though she can leave her job just so that he can feel like the man of the house again!

 

What a well written drama to have made me feel so involved with the characters. Good news that the BBC will be showing series 2 next winter.

Definately last two episodes of Season 2 according to IMBD but there is a Season 3 so hope we get that Can't see what's going to be on to replace it for next week as yet though.

Really wish I'd watched the repeats of series 1 before this season started now

 

Well, it's too soon for Salvo to come back... I wonder if it'll be another series of the French thingy... I think it was called Spiral. I didn't watch that either. A new series of The Bridge would be nice though!

DH said that we've seen all there is of Salvo Spiral was good but not as good as all the others that have been on IMO. Wonder if it will be Wallendar (sp?) as I've only ever seen one of those.

Spiral 4 starts saturday, it should be good. Purchase chocolate and booze and I'm ready for another few saturday nights on the couch

 

Hope Berthaud sorts herself out and Roban gets a grip on his life again, the last series was so sad.

Was hoping for something gloomy and Scandinavian as Spiral didn't appeal last time round.

Then again, I felt the same lack of enthusiasm about Borgen but became quickly hooked

I've recorded the last two parts of Borgen and keep putting off seeing them as I know that I'll feel flat as flat when Borgen is all gone. I thought the characters were so believable (including chauvenist Philip) and will really miss Birghitte and little Kasper (even if he did want every woman within a 10 mile radius ) It has done a lot for Danish PR I think. Makes it look such a lovely place to go with all the beautiful architecture and dead civilised too.
