I know that a lot of crossbreeds which are bred for their high number of eggs are called hylines / goldlines. Maybe a skyline is a similar type? They are brown hens.

 

These are our young Goldlines (15 weeks)

skittish? Well I'm sure the two Dumpies will soon manage to get her into line :) I heard that White Stars are flighty as well.

 

An Irish Setter used to regard me as her human and I was told she was uncontrollable and very excitable. I was her last chance...... she lived with me for 8 years and I found her to be calm and elegant and great fun! The only time she lived up to her reputation was on the beach when she loved to chase seagulls...

I do think that animals do fall in line once they have the right setting......

 

Although some animals / breeds are worse than others.....

 

Having lots of animals they have to be under control......Athough we have yet to teach the hens "into your bed"....... LOL thats gonna come in a few weeks
