Poorly chicken

Thought you might like to see a couple of pics of my lovely new cube (bought from a forum member ) and my ladies summer quarters. Until now they have had the run of the garden all day, every day, but have hardened my heart and they will be confined to their garden for all but a couple of hours a day. A lovely tree surgeon donated their woodchips for a couple of gallons of petrol

 

 

The run is about 17m x 3m and has lots of mature shrubs out of view.

 

 

The green netting on the field side is a wind break since our site is just a wee bit exposed.

Aw, thank you all for your kind words For the most part my ladies seem quite happy with their confinement, but there are always one or two escapees. Thnks for your comments C/C I think my ladies would think themselves in heaven in your run

Jackian, thanks, it is a grand spot but horrid in winter & windy in summer, but the views and sunsets are the reason we stay. Alli x
