Ha ha ha, this morning I gave my girls spaghetti for the first time what a giggle. They all loved it and proceeded to kill it like worms! Great start to the day .....

Next time try hanging it in the bushes around the garden it's good hentertainment

Fab idea plum, we chop ours up to make it last longer as its a very occasional treat, but I can just imagine them hunting around the garden

Can you give them the whole length of spaghetti ?

Doesn't it get tangled up in their crop ?

 

I've never given mine spaghetti but if it gives them some fun then I will

I gave them full length spaghetti,they soon scratched it up and killed it just like worms, so it all got a lot shorter. :) next time i'll defo put it in the bushes that would be really funny :)

my old chooks loved it and they used to get hold of an end each and pull it about lol

going to wait a few weeks to try it on the new ones but hoping they will enjoy it as much.

They also used to like brown cooked rice and I used to sprinkle it round for them to pick at.I think I spoilt my last lot too much as they used to have allsorts-pomegranates,full corn on the cob hung up to peck at,porridge(made with water) pasta,mash potato lol
