Cinnamon
There has been a Tsunami alert in Indonesia, where there has been an earthquake of the same size that caused the devastating Boxing day disaster a few years ago,in around the same area. The sea has already shown signs of drawing back..................... How terrible,if this should result in more horror for those poor people. Geoid
Its not the same size as the Boxing Day Tsunami, it is slightly smaller at 8.5 Mw. Also after the Boxing Day Tsunami disaster, the governments in the affected regions are much better prepared. Since a tsunami warning has been issued early, it means people can be evacuated and loss of life reduced.
rachel19
Looks like the tsunami alert is over which is good news!
craftyhunnypie
Oh thank god. No one should ever have to experience what happened on that Boxing Day. Hence why I have the Avatar that I do. There is so much Unrest of the Earth in that area it is unbelievable! Always high risk! I remember re visiting Thailand, you can't help looking out at the horizon when in the sea & it also feels a bit spooky being in the sea of death. I also experienced 2 ghostly sightings when there. One of a Woman carrying a child along the beach, the other of a Typical Thai man at the side of my bed. Very very moving & emotional. I hope & pray it is over for Indonesia.
