Grr.. at no point does it tell you that those cute wee 'bears' Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff) puppies will grow up to be huuuuge adults weighing in at at least 8 stone how irresponsible is that? I hope the site is closed down!

I'm absolutely horrified - I thought at first that this site was a spoof.

 

Curiously, the '10 year Guarantee' is not available to view, as the link doesn't work. I can't bear to think about some of the people who are likely to buy a puppy online in this way, and what the likely fate of some of those puppies will be. I hope it is closed down.

That is a shocking site! How do we know what they are saying is the truth regarding the breeders? There is nothing on there bar we make sure blah blah blah. Totally irresponsible. You should not be allowed to buy something living, like that, off the internet without having seen it and met it first. I had a look at the cocker spaniels - nothing about any tests the parents would have had, so no guarantee regarding hips scores or eyes

 

And just remember all the advice about buying a puppy, that you must never buy a puppy without having seen it with its mum. Makes me sad

One thing we can be sure of; no reputable breeder would advertise a puppy on there.

Yes you're absolutely right DM, it can surely only be the breeders that are interested in the £££ and not interested in what sort of home their pups are going to that would sell via a website like this. I can't imagine how anyone could bear to sell a living, breathing being without knowing what sort of home it is going to

Oh believe me, there are those sorts all over. There was a conviction round here recently where some 'sorts' had been puppy farming; it had gone on for a long time before the police and RSPCA had enough evidence to throw the book at them.

I actually felt sick when I saw this site. They write about how they carry out 'vigorous background checks and regular inspections' and 'impose the most stringent of guidelines and a strict code of ethics on all breeders'. As others have said, no reputable breeder would sell a puppy in this way and even if this is the case, there is no mention of any checks they do on people who are buying a puppy.

 

It is horrible.

We all know this is wrong ....but how many uninitiated people have looked and not gone beyond the cute, adorable little faces and purchased these bundles of weeing, pooing, chewing, growing, noisy fur?

It doesn't even seem to show the actual pup you would get If you click on the bulldog (Eddy I think) it shows a white and tan pup, but the blurb says he is black!

It's a terrible site, needs shutting down straight away!

You wouldn't buy a car with out kicking the wheels first why would you buy a puppy through the post!!!!!
