Ain't Nobody Here
As we have a lovely new widescreen telly arriving next week, I thought I might give the livingroom carpet a bit of a clean in its honour . I've never hired a carpet cleaner before. Are they easy to use? I've always paid professionals to do it before, do the DIY ones do as good a job? Any advice gratefully received . sage
We hire a Rug Dr a few weeks ago from homebase, it cost us £20 for 24hrs. It was very easy to use and did a good job. Sage
ClaireG
We're in a rented house with cream carpet and have used Rug Doctor a couple of times now. I've found it easy to use and it gives fab results as Sage says.
Looney
We hired a rug doctor when we moved here. Dead easy to use!
craftyhunnypie
We've got a Bissel & it's as easy to use as an upright hoover. The ones you can hire from Morrissons supermarkets are good too. You get great results! Emma.x
chickencam
We use a Rug Doctor at least once a year, we have, pale carpets, dark cats, 3 teenagers, an allotment, chickens and a woodburner, so our carpets get a hammering. They work really well

ubereglu
Dad hires out a RugDoctor too and does the house more or less in one go over the course of a weekend. It definitely gives good results and is quite cost effective!
