patsylabrador
Have a good weekend. Most of my lot are working the weekend but I've got my flags and bunting, a posh lunch and I'm settling down to watch the river Pageant. Lots of street parties around here. Plum
Was a shame the flypast was cancelled. They must have been practising their diamond for a while.

Griffin
I'm having a lovely time Lunch out yesterday, a spot of shopping for a friend & her baby, an afternoon doing chickeny things outside, Nancy (our hand reared kitten) had a party held for her first birthday with some of my eldest daughters friends, a film and a very late bedtime. Didn't get up until 10am today, amazing! Pottered about, watched the Pageant then made chorizo pilaf for dinner. We're having our Jubilee tea party tomorrow afternoon at home. Mr Griffin makes a wonderful coronation chicken. I'm making cakes. We're going strawberry picking tomorrow morning because I need some for one of my cakes. I'm loving this weekend
craftyhunnypie
We watched 'all The Queens Horses'. It was fantastic & we are not into horses at all! I was amazed at the Russian horses. We also enjoyed The Arabian horses. Susan Boyle singing Mull of Kintyre made me go cold. It was nice to see The Queen smiling & enjoying herself. We went our local for a meal last night, with our neighbours. We've got campers on our camp field, so that's entertaining for us. We had some ducks come for a swim on our stream yesterday - it was lovely to see. I begged for them to stay, but they've gone again. We've had a relaxing day today, busy doing nothing. Tomorrow - nothing planned as yet, but hoping for better weather. Tuesday is our village street party. Enjoy your Jubilee everyone!
