Noctilux2
Anyone else come across Omlet accepting payment for an online item, not having it in stock, taking the money from your account anyway, & not telling you they don't have the item or when they / or you are likely to get it. Exceptionally bad business practice and customer service. In my case, the 21mtr fence at effectively £100. They have the money,my girls have no fence! The Dogmother
Have you given them a ring?
Snowy
They don't normally take payment until the day before delivery Give them a ring - they don't come on the forum often so are unlikely to pick up any complaints from here
Noctilux2
Have you given them a ring? I have, with the response that it was "an oversight". I have however since discovered that a nearby Cube user has also had exactly the same experience. An endemic practice or oversight ? Hmmmm! Redwing
I've placed several orders with Omlet with no trouble at all as have many of my friends. I dont think they are in the habit of doing this personally
Duncan08
Me too, I have always found their customer service very good. We are all allowed the odd mistake, it's how they are dealt with.
Ain't Nobody Here
They're usually excellent at customer service so I'm sure you'll find they'll be only too glad to sort it out for you. I've always found them very obliging .
lillybettybabs
It more than likely just a stock control oversight - their system thinks that they have one in stock but they physically don't have it. It is a lot harder for online stores as everything is automatic so stock levels have to be precise or errors and these types of mistakes are made - With a shop you would see a empty shelf straight away. SueChick
Hi - I'm sorry you have experienced bad service - I know that it is very frustrating! I have to echo the above about Omlet - I have always found them very good. Such a shame tying haven't had a good experience but I'm sure they will soon sort it out.
