Mrs_B
Hello everyone, As I have had the girls for nearly 2 weeks and it was a dry day here in Gloucestershire (SHOCK!) I thought it would be a good time to put the Omlet netting up and with the help of my mother we were able to check all the girls for lice etc and thankfully they were all healthy and happy. They've been 'out' all day so far and have been very good!! As I am poorly and can't move much this has been a great day being able to be out and enjoy the girls' company a bit more then them just being in the run/coop - although they don't go far from it. Hope you like the photos! Sunbathing chooks and the cat~ Amber (Big Sister) enjoying her strole~ The girls having a good 'go' at the lawn! x

merlina
Lovely pics! Mine are just pleased the garden is less like a paddling pool altho they seem to like that plants can be scratched up with greater ease in this soggy weather!
Chortle Chook
Lovely pictures. Think I need a trip to Gloucestershire if you have sun there - I'm desperate for it.
mabelandflosmum
Lovely photos, am envious, we have had thunder and lightning, hail and torrential rain here in Wiltshire, my chooks are in danger of growing webbed feet!
Mrs_B
Thank you, everyone The sunshine sadly didn't last, it was tipping it down and it's been dark since (I can't believe it was SUNNY today now! ) I will definitely take advantage of any dry weather this British 'summer' has. I know what you mean about webbed feet, mabelandflosmum x
daxigirl
Ah stop showing off wih yer sunshine at least you saw the sun. We had rain, hail, thunderstorms and lightening and were all confined to our various quarters, getting drenched if brave enough to vencher out. Rather in luffs with Skippy cat . Regarding the weather - if it helps we have had nothing but rain, rain and more rain x Love the photos My cats always tip toes round the chooks and tries to get in their WIR when they are FR makes me Thanks My cat is a bit doppy and doesn't really pay much attention to the new birds around the garden...it's great watching pets together (when they behave of course!) x Aw, I have a White Sussex and a White Star too- lovely girls and I love the way you've protected your flowers. Now why didn't I think of doing that... Thank you! I love their personalities - our White Star is definitely a 'madam' and I can't wait for her to be fully grown! The Sussex and White Star are gorgeous birds I have been constantly protecting my veg/flower patch against mice and slugs/insects for months, it was instinct that kicked in that I needed the netting when I got the chooks x
