Mrs Frugal
Pretty windy here Laura but that's teenage boys for you ! No, actually it's been windy here all day. The fence is moving considerably and the front door rattles! Hope it's not too bad for the girls out in their run. I think they'll be off to bed soon - getting dark already! Louise
Woo Hoo for once I can be smug and say it isn't windy here I think the south and west are getting the best (or worse) of todays weather
Leanne
its VERY blowy here, the trees are bending, the wind is whistling down the chimney and the doors rattle here too. I love it!!!!!
Guest
It's been blooming awful here today - Hampshire, South Coast. The chooks have spent a lot of time in their house out of the wind.
Popcorn
....and the east too Louise. It's terrible here and we live ontop of a hill to make matters worse. The poor chooks have had their wings blown off nearly! Garden furniture has been thrown about the garden, and even the cabbage I pegged to the run was blown away Just gone and checked on the girls. Not a peep
Lesley
I've just had to rescue the cover off the barbecue and weight it down with garden chairs not sure they'll last long though - must go and clear a space in the shed amongst drying onions and hops All our Steptoe bits holding the cover up are flying around inside the run - brooms everywhere. If we still have a tarpaulin cover tomorrow morning, I'll be very surprised
Mel (& Paul)
Dorset was really windy yesterday - the chooks were scooting along with their tail feathers fluffed by the gusts!!
