Cinnamon
Just been to my local Starbucks & had their Christmas Special Gingerbread Latte. It was wonderful & makes you feel all festive & snuggly warm I was so inspired I went & made a proper dent in my Christmas shopping too. Richard and Jo
I ADORE their Gingerbread latte!! Had one on Tuesday and yesterday! Remember it last year, and you are so right, it just makes you feel as though you're sitting in front of a log fire and it's snowing outside etc. etc. Fabulous stuff!! DucktorWho
*wail* I love their Chai Latte (Chistmassy but available all year round) but I found out a year or so ago that caffeine was responsible for making me poorly and giving me panic attacks - it was actually the Chai Lattes that gave me the clue after a particularly bad bout of uncontrollable shaking. Now I can't have them and I miss them sooo much. I might have one this year and just accept I'll be poorly....if I do it when I don't have plans for a couple of days I thoroughly recommend them (although they're a bit weird if you are expecting them to taste at all like tea. Better if you imagine it as more of a hot chocolate type of drink)
Lesley
I liked the Chai Latte as well but than I looked at the ingredients list - it is as long as your arm so I didn't buy any more It doesn't taste like tea or I wouldn't be able to drink it -an acquired taste! Popcorn
Clare, I was just going to mention the Eggnog drink. I had one in starbucks in our local Borders Bookshop last year. I'm ashamed to say I have no idea what went in it? Can you tell me
Cinnamon
I heard on the radio today that 1 eggnog latte has more fat than a McDonalds happy meal! Which is why I had the Gingerbread one, with half fat milk I think they make the eggnog one with special eggnog milk,& I find it a bit rich for me, although my Hubby loves it
