Omlet app update does not work on ios27

[Olly]

It was just a couple of extra balls of wool, Plum - although I'm not allowed to start anything new until I've ticked some UFOs off my list, the rules (written by me) don't say that you can't buy the wherewithal for the next project!

[Purplemaniacs]

It is more economical that way it saves on postage

That is my excuse

[freddie]

Don't pin the blame on me!!

[craftyhunnypie]

One all done, sat hooking away last night. I used the correct yarn & a 4mm hook, but it has come out at 6 and a half, almost 7 inches. Is this a problem? I can't really undo a couple of rounds, as it's part of the pattern. Will crack on with a few more later for you.

EEk . 'Tis a bit big, as I have to stitch them together... , and not sure how I can , unless I have four, or 6 to do a "middle bit", with others around it?

[craftyhunnypie]

Will keep this myself & try again with a much much smaller hook. I'm using the book 200 crochet blocks - it's fab, but they do come out large. Heck!

What's your betting this one will come out far too small?

It's fun playing around though & all the ' errors' can get made into something for me - Bonus!

I am very worried now, I am a novice crocheter

Chrissie

[Mrs Webmuppet]

Fret not Purplemaniacs, I too am a novice and mine came out at 5in using a 4mm hook. I was quite shocked

[Purplemaniacs]

Well done Mrs W I am waiting for my wool to arrive and then I will have a go.

Chrissie

[Purplemaniacs]

I have made one

It is just slightly bigger than 5" so I am going to do another one with a smaller hook and see how big that one is.

Chrissie

[Plum]

Well Freddie you are going to have a challenge with mine. I spoke too soon

between Chrissie and me you should get a good average

Always need a challenge, anything other than Everest, or any Roller Coaster.. Don't like hieghts, so absailing's out too. I'll stick to a woolly challenge then!!

I've made three, so far! Busy week...

[bluekarin]

I have made two so far They are both 5" or nearest I can get. Just a few more and then they'll be off in the post to you Freddie

[craftyhunnypie]

Remind me again when you need these by - my head is scrambled at the mo!

Thanks..

[Olly]

Freddie, as you're doing all the edging/joining would you like some spare wool - or are you going to edge it all in the same colour to bring it all together? I was thinking I could pop the remaining wool in the envelope when I send the squares.

[Couperwife]

Freddie, how many squares do you want? I seem to be a bit addicted to making granny squares, no posh pattern, just basic granny squares

Did everyone see call the midwife last night? It reminded me of this project!

[freddie]

Hi All,

I'll take what I can get!! I'll edge them all in white, to join them together, ... if anyone fancies making "embellishments for little fingers, " that'd be good too!! If I end up with too many, and have enough for a third(heaven help me!), then we'll have to decide. what to do with it!

Can someone pm me the address of the neutral one...

As soon as is good, for sending, as I ought to try and crack on, esp as one is for sometime fairly soon.....the other is not for several weeks, I believe, so I have more time..

Thank you everyone!!

I am doing stripy ones here, as it keeps me off the sloe gin!!

[Plum]

Then they'll be wavy ones

I saw call the midwife and that's us in virtual omlet world crocheting away, well I will be after tea.

[freddie]

I watched it too...

[craftyhunnypie]

Cracking on with another square. Good for me at the mo, as it's helping me to relax after worrying constantly about my dad.
