foreveryoung
Hi since Ive had my girls I always call them when its time to go back into their pen! even though sometime I need to hurd them !!! I started to call the them and make a clicking noise which they seem to catch onto now! I also give them something that will help them remember why its a good thing to come when called! today I had a slice of bread for them and called them, they ran so fast I was quite surprised so thought I would show you! tis funny tho, bless them! xx

Milly
Chickens are quite good at running, aren't they? You could start having races, like duck races We call ours the "aunties" as they just look like old-fashioned ladies hitching up their skirts and running. But our miss Pepperpot quite often semi-flies as well, running with her wings open.

Milly
Jay, what kind are your hens? I really like the goldy/brown one. Milly
xScrunchee
Jay, what kind are your hens? I really like the goldy/brown one. Milly Rose is a Gingernut ranger and the other two-Bobbie and Ria are Miss Pepperpots apparently. The goldy/brown one is Ria. (Pepperpot) Bobbie and Ria look sooo different from eachother that I found it hard to believe that they were both Pepperpots at first. Milly
She looks like something much more exotic! There does seem to be a big variation in the colours when you see people's photos on the site. My Miss Pepperpot is very black, with only a very little bit of red/brown under her chin. And the Gingernut Ranger is mainly brown.
