Allotment Lady

Recommended Posts

This is probably a very old post, but i have just come across the site, and have sat reading it for ages,

It is BRILLIANT :lol::lol: I can picture exactly the chickens saying what they are saying,

I presume the lady is on here sumwhere as she is the proud owner of a Cube,

Well done Allotment Lady for giving me a good laugh reading about your girls,

Thankyou, xx

Thank you so much M'Lady - for your kind comments - very much appreciated as it is very hard work and time consuming writing up my webtsite blog every day.

There is a link on there to my first blog - over 500 postings. There were almost 1000, but I deleted lots as I kept using up my space allocation!

I tried to stop writing it - but get deluged in the three months or so that I stopped - so returned - on my on website!

Just got back from my allotment with literally sacks full of produce - and just now off to scrub my muddy hands and cook lunch

xxx

I think your blog is FANTASTIC! I now have Pekins too, and they really do talk. Bedtime always involves a huge amount of discussion - is it too early, who should go into the Eglu first, where they should perch and I don't know what else. Then one decides they need another bedtime snack, so they all come back out, and then it starts all over again!

We should be getting our allotment soon, so I've been learning lots about that from Dilly too. I think I need to do a lot more reading though- I had no idea there was so much to pulling up onions for a start!

PLEASE keep on writing :D

Thank you for your kind comments - it makes all the hard work worthwhile.

I have just posted their antics today! Excuse the rude bit at the end - but you know what youngsters are like

I love reading about Dilly's bantams' antics, I too am a regular reader of her blog, and I can vouch for how lovely she is as well!

My freezer is still full of rhubarb from my visit to buy her run converter and extension ... not to mention the gooseberry jelly and chutney that she gave me.

I don't know how you find the time to write the blog, Dilly - what with your mega allotment, and the card-making, and all the other things you do. I think by the time I retire I'll be too tired to do any of the things I've planned for

Been busy this week - but still have time to write about my chookies.

Latest updates today - and two more in the pipeline tomorrow - and a late evening one planned too - trying out something daring :roll::roll:
