Alis girls
Has anyone watched this on BBC1 at 9pm -Fridays?. Tonights was hysterical - french trip. OH and I were in convulsions. Catherine Tate as the French teacher is a hoot and David Wallaims is very funny too. Its like Waterloo Road with humour.
chickencam
We watched the first episode but though that it was cringeworthy, didn't bother after that sorry.
Egluntyne
I'm with chickencam I'm afraid.10 minutes of the first episode was enough for me. It is puerile. What on earth is Philip Glenister doing appearing in this?
chickencam
I agree re Philip Glenister, he was one of the main reasons for me tuning in, maybe he felt he needed to balance his career.

Groovychook
I watched it on iplayer- expecting not to like it much... but found it really amusing Maybe I'm feeling a bit giddy at the moment but not many things made me laugh out loud when I'm watching something on the laptop with my headphones on! soapdragon
This is another of the series that I recorded but havn't got round to watching yet Perhaps I'll start with the French trip one and work back!
Chook n Boo Mum
It has made me cringe and howl in equal measure....David Walliams in white vest and yfronts hysterical!
Ain't Nobody Here
Watched the first 2 episodes. Hoped it would get better but found it all a bit cliched and predictable. After watching Philip Glennister in Mad Dogs I couldn't bear watching him in this .
soapdragon
This is obviously 'marmite' TV! Love or Hate???? OH is away for a night next week so I will give it a go then!
soapdragon
Have now caught up with episodes 1, 5 and 6 - which was all the wretched machine decided to record! Some hysterical bits and some just plain silly but, overall, a good laugh and I will look up the missing 3 episodes on some form of technology! For me, the absolute scene stealer every time was the obviously alcoholic and monumentally jaded Headmistress......
Alis girls
The French trip was the best Catherine Tate's character is so up her own bottom she is hilarious esp when David Wallaims is taken ill after eating snails I think it was. Sorry lavatorial humour - but after 30yrs in NHS I have a warped, black side to me
soapdragon
The French Trip one was hilarious - it was the bit about sending down to reception for a scented candle that got me It has now entered the family vocab every time there is a bit of a whiff (sorry, is that too much info ?)
