I heard an interview with someone from Omlet (think it was Johannes?) on Radio WM as I was driving home from work the other day.

 

He said the jackets were very popular!

 

I imagine if you have an older hen with a very thorough moult going on you might like to put one on her to give a bit of extra warmth. After all, we did have Omleteers with ex batts in knitted jumpers.

They have just made it onto BBC1 Have I Got News For You? I liked the reference to the fact they are called gilets, one letter away from giblets.
