chuckmum6
https://www.omlet.co.uk/shop/chicken_keeping/chicken_jackets/16728/yellow_high-vis_chicken_jacket/ Maybe I am missing something, but why do chickens need this????? Will there be a range of fashion items for hens? Unless the girls are going to be trained as builders - in which case they need little hard hats and low slung jeans - I just don't see the point. Olly
Is it April Fool's Day? It's not as if they're going to free range in the dark, is it! I can't imagine why you'd want one. Or six, in my case!
Princess Leia
Why did the chicken cross the road? To scare the bejeezus out of unsuspecting car drivers who think it's a person a long way away, only to find it's something much smaller and closer! Ain't Nobody Here
Note : Please note, the High-Vis Chicken Jacket is not suitable as pyjamas - please remove at night. I sense a gap in the market - chicken pyjamas .

Chortle Chook
I suddenly remembered the hours OH and spent I looked for a Poland with torches one night last autumn. She was roosting up a tree. Now if she had had a high visibility jacket . . .

good_egg
I love the idea of hard hats to match.... That might keep mine a little less accident prone! Maybe it's so when the chooks cycle they can be seen!?

Patricia W
I can see a use for it as a chicken saddle to protect from over-amorous cockerels, but not sure I'll be rushing to buy one.
Sandychick
If anyone out there buys one , please explain the concept to us!

Angie
Why did the chicken cross the road ? No not to get to the other side silly, She wanted to show off her new Jacket .
The Dogmother
I also checked that the date wasn't 1st April!
Simondegaris
The saddles are real and are used! The tend to use them when you have a cock, and if he is how should i put it...over amourous while mating and showing dominace he will pull feathers from the chickens back or cause scratches. The saddle goes over the back to help protect the hens from this! They also look quite comical on, especially on the grumpy chickens who are most grumpy at having them on! Chickabee
Yes, but if you read why omlet are selling the, it's to keep your chickens warm, so you can see them in the dark, and so they're safe crossing the road
The Dogmother
It's not a poultry saddle, not nearly enough padding or protection.
CantankerousBunny
How have I not noticed omlet selling these before!? They are absolutely hilarious! , my poor chickens would go mad if I made them walk around in these!
