The Dogmother
Not one of mine, but Sue Perkins' Pickle Tissues at the ready I have been sobbing, watching my two melt themselves contentedly in front of the stove.
superkitty
Oh my goodness. Snoring dog on the sofa next to me, and I'm definitely leaking around the eyes a bit. After each of my pets has died I've always written them a letter and kept it....glad it's not just me! This one is beautiful and poignant and funny and so heartfelt. Grandmashazzie
Amazing letter, summed up so completely the wonderful bond between Pickle and owner.I loved the descriptions painted you could just see it all before you, especially liked stealing ice cream out of mouths of infants. In our case it would be stealing the custard creams out of sticky little fingers. Thanks for sharing.

chickencam
So heart felt, anyone without pets fails to understand the strength of the bonds that we have with them, especially if you are single and they are your main companion.
freddie
Sue says it all, every word, of every dog that has brought life to us shallow humans. I'm in bits, just reading her words. Please let her know how sad we are for her, and what a beautiful wordsmith she is.
