bluekarin
My eldest daughter who isn't interested in sewing whatsoever watches this with me She was asking herself and me why last night! I told her no idea. Such a shame who left. I thought they were really good. Loved the dungarees they all made, especially the animal ones. Such beautiful dresses they made as well! For me it's between three people to win.
Chickendoodle
Don't mind who wins as they are all brilliant. Love Patrick and loved May's "dancing" last night.
Olly
I think it's just getting to the stage where it's really hard to choose between them - there were some real disasters last night from people who've previously been excelling. I wouldn't have expected the person who went out last night to go, but the prom dress was a bit of a let-down. After last week's episode, I really really want an overlocker! bluekarin
I loved Lynda's shawl she was wearing last night! Would love to make one for myself. Such gorgeous bright rainbow colours
Charlottechicken
After last week's episode, I really really want an overlocker! Me too! I've wanted one for a while but it just reinforced the need!! (the Brother one has good reviews and is one of the cheapest )
Olly
I loved Lynda's shawl she was wearing last night! Would love to make one for myself. Such gorgeous bright rainbow colours Yes I couldn't stop looking at it - I'd love to know what wool she'd used!
bluekarin
Her daughter made it! Just googled it and her blog came up! Sadly, for me, it's knitted The blog http://www.craftsfromthecwtch.co.uk/2014/03/my-knitting-secret-invisible-zip-gbsb.html The pattern on Ravelry http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/whippoorwill
Olly
*sharp intake of breath* - that is fabulous, thanks so much for the link Bluekarin - I didn't even know her daughter had a blog. Guess what my next project's going to be - when the wool is back in stock!
bluekarin
I can't wait to see yours! The wools are gorgeous aren't they. Some lovely shades. I quite like the greeny blue. I wonder how hard it would be to convert it to a crochet pattern?

Ain't Nobody Here
I'm not a sewer (despite a stage of making things in my early 20s - I wasn't particularly good!) but am really enjoying this . I'm in awe of how creative they all are . Just discovered that Patrick was born and brought up just 2 miles down the road from me .
LolaLayla
I love this too and am patiently waiting for the next episode. I can sew but making things fit, well that's another story
bluekarin
I used to make my own clothes in my 20s and have been thinking about getting back into it. Especially as I can never find tops that I like and that will suit me I wasn't very good, but I did enjoy it
sadietoo
I hated "needlework" with a vengeance at school - all that unpicking after being shouted about ! So I'm surprised to find not only am I loving this but I've booked myself on a course at Clothkits to make a shift dress
Plum
I'm seriously tempted to make a blouse similar to the lovely thirties blouse on this weeks programme perhaps I need a cloth kits course too. Have a fabulous time and show us what you make. I've not done much sewing since the kids were small. I'm so in awe of Chinelos skills, she's so inspiring but Linda to win. redbug
Think the contestants are evenly matched should be a good final.
Olly
My money is on Linda too, although her blouse wasn't very good. I loved that 30s pattern, though! I think this has been a really fools series, they are more evenly matched than last year's contestants.
sadietoo
I'd be happy to see either Linda or Chinelo to win
sadietoo
Have just caught up with this weeks episode. And I am once again How could the judges like that awful bumpy yoga...... Thing If that woman wins i will lose faith in the integrity of the programme
bluekarin
I don't think she will win. It almost felt as if they wanted to praise her just once during the series as they had been really quite hard on her. I am not sure the right person went again this week either. I think someone who made an extremely simple dress should have had zero faults on it. The person who went was consistently good every week. You could see nerves got to her. Really did feel for her. sadietoo
I agree bluekarin. I thought the same thing and I'm disappointed that there doesn't seem to be any brownie points for earlier weeks either. Oh we'll. it's great entertainment anyway.!
Plum
Poor Linda, she's such a lovely person. If her first creation was garment of the week she'd have stayed. Get your scissors out girls and boys
Olly
I was rooting for Linda, and she has made some fabulous items but I can't agree that she was consistently good. Some of her makes were great, some weren't and the dress she made this week had quite a few faults. I don't think any of the others are as good overall though - really looking forward to the final but it'll be a tough decision. I think the yoga outfit was technically very difficult despite not looking very pretty (in my opinion).
Chickendoodle
I think Chinelo is the most naturally talented one. To make the stuff she has without patterns is just amazing. Can't forget her blue velvet dress. I think they said she has only been sewing for 2 years ?
redbug
Have't been on this thread this week yet ONLY Just watched this episode on iplayer very mixed bag this week. Some good some in the middle. Linda has had better weeks think her first was v good but not so good on last 2 items (not having enough fabric was her let down). Very difficult decision! I thought the yoga outfit was made very well nice and equal. In the middle for one and last for the other. Heathers dress was very simple but had done well in first two items! Chinelo has made some lovely outfits and without a pattern very talented. Still think it could be anyone's game to win. It will very close as this week. Not like last years having a clear winner.
