gavclojak Posted February 15, 2014 Share Posted February 15, 2014 I was saddened to read about Bob Thomas, a 77 year old chap who was hit by a tree while gathering his hens to safely in the winds and died. We have had strong wings down here in London way but nothing of the magnitude others have had. I feel deeply sorry for all those who have suffered flooding and worse. It puts my usual grumbles in to perspective. I have also read this horrific weather is coming to an end not before time.....I hope all of you guys reading this and your friends and family have not been too Badly affected. Onward and upward.... libby22 Posted February 15, 2014 Share Posted February 15, 2014 What a terrible shame - poor man. I totally agree - we all prepared for another freezing winter and simply didn't see this lot coming. I was out checking the run and securing the roof whilst it was blowing up a storm.
