auntielizzie
After what seems like an age of no eggs at all, soft eggs and naughty chickens eating their eggs, I had a wonderful surprise today when I got home from work: 4 eggs from 4 chickens I can't remember the last time this happened I had a horrible day at work today and this has cheered me up no end

auntielizzie
I sold the eggz BlueSilver In fact, whoever brought them left us £2 instead of the usual £1 so must have been impressed too Mind you, there were two beautiful big Berthas in there so I'm not surprised

auntielizzie
In fact, a very strange thing has just happened; I was just out with the girls sorting them out when the other three started chasing Bertha around........ She was clucking away and as she ran, a softy egg plopped out! This stopped the others in their tracks and they gobbled it up! But Bertha has already laid this morning! Well I never! Things go from one extreme to the other with these chickens
Chickabee
that's funny. They never lay softies in the nesting area. Mine seem to lay them at night. I will be very shocked if I ever get 13 eggs in one day. Think the most I've had is
