Praise for Omlet

Recommended Posts

I know this is a bit 'Preaching to the converted' but I just wanted to say that I've had some excellent customer service from Omlet. I posted a 3 star review of the fence, stating that I found it really fiddly to put up and after only a couple of weeks it was starting to unravel slightly in one place. I thought nothing more of it, but a week or so later I got an email from them asking if I'd like to return it for a replacement. I said no as it would be too much hassle talking it down again - next thing I know I have an automatic email telling me my repair kit has been dispatched! I know it's only cheap, but they sent it for free without being asked - top marks Omlet

Great service! :D

Working in service operations and having to deal with customer complaints has made me appreciate good customer service so much more now! I recently got a new phone contract and emailed to thank the sales agent and have started tweeting about good service in restaurants etc - people are all to quick to complain but rarely compliment good service!

I always try to compliment good service, I have emailed several companies recently to thank them. I purchased an item recently and it was so much nicer in the "flesh" I called the company to say how thrilled I was

I work within the NHS (dental) and I actually HATE the NHS choices review site, as a general rule, I have found patient expectation very hard to manage, what is available on the NHS and privately are two separate things but you give patients the choice they think you are pushing them into private treatment if you don't we have not fulfilled our obligation of not giving them all the options available..,,then they get straight on the review website and complain

Well done for complimenting the good service! It's true that so many people are quick to complain but slow to praise. However many organisations don't help themselves - I work for a health charity, and we give all our clients a booklet containing our service standards, ie, what service you can expect from us. At the back of the booklet is an A5 page that people can tear put and post back to us if they have a complaint. However nowhere is there a form that people can submit good feedback on! Myself and colleagues have challenged this many times and suggested that we should be inviting people to give us good feedback as well as criticism, but so far it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Totally ludicrous!

Many years ago we were in Florida and the flight home was delayed due to a probem with the plane. This meant that we had to stay a night at the airport with 2 tired children. The airline put everyone into very nice hotel rooms within a couple of hours and gave us all food vouchers. When I got home I wrote to the airline (I think it was Thompson's own airline) and said how well handled the whole thing was. I got a very nice, but obviously shocked letter back saying how rarely they received nice letters.

It doesn't take much to say thanks and you could make someone's day :)

Well.....the GDC(General dental council) have increased dental professionals registration fee's by 60% at the same time took out full page adverts in leading newspapers advertising how to complain about their own members.....and having a massive office in one if the most expensive parts of London.

I'm all in favour of people power but I think that actively encourages complaints...rant over!!!

FYI I did have a really bad first experience with omlet....horrific in fact, but I emailed in my concerns and it was dealt with....job done....end of...
