Daphne
I don't know if I'm the only person, but I can't see your pictures. I'm sorry I won't be able to help you anyway, not being a silkie keeper, but that maybe why you haven't had too many responses. I have a vague feeling that possibly you have to make 5 posts before you can post a picture

Egluntyne
sorry the browinsh one is the poss boy... dunno why the img links went all funny like that the code thing is off prob cos i'm new ... That's right. It is to stop spammers posting unsuitable links and then clearing off. I think you have to rack up 10 posts before you can post links. Silkies are notoriously difficult to sex, but the stance looks rather butch. You will know for sure when s/he crows or lays an egg.

Redwing
If the bird is eight months old its almost certainly a pullet. the comb is larger than I like to see on a female but nowhere as big as it should be if the bird was male.
angriesthedgehog
Im so confused lol... would be so much easier if they came with a label
Purplemaniacs
If he is that old I would have thought he would be crowing if he was a boy both of my Silkie boys were making a good cockadoodledoo by that age. Chrissie
