Purplemaniacs
I am watching an item on ebay, had an email to say it was finishing soon but ebay won't let me in to look I don't think it is something I am doing wrong. I would be a bit cross if I was selling the item as I and perhaps others are not able to bid on it. Chrissie
soapdragon
Ahhhhh, I can't get onto E bay either so diverted to the Forum !! Suspect its their prob but def not the 1st time it has happened recently. As you say, I'd be furious if I were selling an item ending whilst they were unavailable I imagine that they have a whole army of techie bods available so should'nt be long! soapdragon
Now up and running again but a big back lash in terms of feedback and very many unhappy buyers and sellers. The third time since mid August!
Charlottechicken
The third time since mid August! That's not good. Hope they have sorted all the problems, I've just started listing again after two months off. Not nice for all those affected, bet there are a lot of annoyed folk in ebayland. The Dogmother
I managed to get some things listed, but it was slow and clunky I am a but annoyed as an item that I had bid on was due to end and I didn't get notification that I'd been outbid; I would have bettered the winning price too. soapdragon
One school mum was saying today that she has messaged her buyer from yesterday saying that she is cancelling the transaction as the item was not in the public domain at the time that the auction ended so the sale was null and void anyway.... I wonder how far she will get!
Cinnamon
Seems like a legitimate way to handle things, if you think something has sold for way less that you expected. There is no argument really - it wasn't in the public domain, so fair enough. eBay should also remove any negative feedback she might incur, & refund her fees!
