Margaret
Need some help/advice please as I am not crafty at all. My lovely Mum always did everthing. Have just brough Grandson who is 3 half, some Action Man figures from e bay, and most of them are naked !!!! To buy the clothes, as they are now vintage are an absolute fortune, so I now need to make 8 pairs of trousers or shorts and tops. any advice or ideas would be a great help, need to be very simple though. jasperaliceuk
Check out the charity shops too. The one I volunteer at sometimes gets Action Man stuff in. And there is a lot of clearing out of toys by people right now!
Cat tails
Or take any clothes that are present apart and use those as a pattern for new ones?
jimnpaula
Asking on FreeCycle/ TrashNothing type groups may turn up some unwanted but already-made clothes.
Groovychook
I've just had a look on Pinterest and this page came up... http://uk.pinterest.com/zengirl41/ken-doll-clothes-patterns/?z=1 I'm not entirely sure if 'Ken' is the same size as Action Man but I'm sure you could scale them up or down slightly. Can't think there would be too much difference! Some of the patterns look a bit complicated but there are some simpler garments there too. Hope that's of some help Just edited to add that you could trace some of those patterns off a laptop screen if you were careful

Valkyrie
I think Ken is a bit more slender than muscular A man! When I was younger I did make some shirts and shorts for my brother's A man. I also knitted a Chelsea scarf for him (he had the proper Chelsea outfit at the time). And I gather my brother still collects them. And clothes! He even has a Russian Action woman! She is called Bob. Well she had to be didn't she!
