Dolly
Not sure if I've got the link right but saw this on EBay and wondered if its genuine Omlet, looks strange to me, particularly the two feeders which appear a bit roughly moulded.... Or is it an early, older version? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omlet-Eglu-chicken-house-2-feeders-1-water-2-dirt-trays-with-wire-run-/251840163493?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3aa2d7eea5
Purplemaniacs
I think it is a mark 1. It doesn't appear to have any roosting bars, the mark 1 had a long one at the back and the one for near the entrance came in a number of little sections. chuckmum6
Mmm, a mark 1, but it doesn't look great to me, what is with the wood at the front? Personally I would go for a mk2.
Egluntyne
It is a Mark 1 in the old Pea Green colour.
Cat tails
Wow! Omlet has come on quite a lot since those days!
Chickabee
That is an old one. They used to have wooden roosting bars. Might be worth looking at. I sold a classic, mk2 with 2m run for £
Ain't Nobody Here
You probably wouldn't be able to get spare parts for it. Not sure it would be such a bargain in that case.
sparkysmum
I have one of these! It was my first eglu, the one that got me started! Two eglus and a cube later I still have it. In fact may well be going to bring it into use again If you or someone you know is good at DIY you can make a set of roosting bars fairly cheaply! So long as you're not planning on filling it with orps it should do fine. Ax
Egluntyne
I still have a Mark 1 yellow Eglu. I use it for emergencies and introductions. The roosting bar issue is easily solved. Just go to B & Q and get them to cut wood to the right length.
