Mar1a Posted June 25, 2015 Share Posted June 25, 2015 Kind of following on from a previous thread about honking hens, I was with my girls today and we both heard three very different sounds from them - we were watching them when they were doing it! One was enjoying some dandelion leaves. She BURPED A different one MEOWED like a cat A third one made a FARTING sound. From her mouth What unusual noises do your feathered friends make? Cat tails Posted June 25, 2015 Share Posted June 25, 2015 I'm still amazed at the range of sounds that my ladies produce! From cat purring and the soft little bokboks when egg laying, to screeching at birds, to alarm calls for cats, alarm calls for birds (those are definitely different), to the egg song and just plainly annoying me by clucking around very loud.
