xChicken04x
Hiya, firstly i dont know weather this should be in the chicken clinic so sorry if it is. We bought some Flubenvet wroming powder for Lacey but we dont know how much is supposed to go in the food it says 120g per 100kg of food. We dont have 100kg of food though. How much does everyone else use? thanks for any help xx
The Dogmother
I used to use just a small amount on the end of a teaspoon handle, mix it with some water and syringe it into the chooks beak. That way you can make sure that they all get their dosage.
xChicken04x
Ok, thanks for that!!! We havent got any syringe's so i just dipped some grapes in it and gave them all one, do you think thats ok? xx
The Dogmother
You can get child dosing syringes (without needles) at most chemists. Each chook needs about 2ml of the suspension. Unfortunately, the powder doesn't dissolve well, so will need stirring between each chook you dose.
chelsea
we do the grape or raisin method. slice open grape or raisin. get a sharp knife and place small amount of flubenvet on the tip of the knife, place inside the grape or raisin and then seal up the evidence. Give one to each chicken for 7 days. Easy!
