I want to get a low rise walk in run, to add to my many Omlet runs and coops. Omlet advertise that prices start at £259.99. However when you try to but it you instantly get diverted to a cost of £299.99. I understand that this includes vat, but I think it's very misleading to have your main advert stating a lower price. I had actually budgeted for this. Does anyone agree

I agree 100%...if it states a start price then you should be able to purchase one at that price. I would wait until they have an offer I think. The problem is that the omlet products are so damn good, they have the odd irritating thing like the rubbish ladder in the cube but nothing comes close does it?

Agree that the price is misleading. I could be a simple mistake? I would consider emailing and asking about it.

 

However, can you wait? Do you need it right now? We got ours last year around April/May time when they had an offer, so paid £199 for the 1.8x1.8m low rise.

 

The low rise WIR is really good. If you have time to wait a little and they do another offer, it's a good price.

I had a look in the 'shop' and there is indeed a price for the lower amount in a green box.

When you click on the green box, it takes you straight to the higher prices which is very unfair and misleading.

 

I would message them to see what they say.

Can it just be a mistake? The Dutch website has €399 as lowest price and that is the price you can actually order it for.

The price is bizarre, if you add on 20% VAT it comes to £311.98 so isn't that. Unless there is going to be an offer coming up soon and they have prematurely reduced the price in one place and not the other?

Spoken to Omlet, as usual they were very polite. They will not honour the £259.99 though. It is a mistake. I told them it had been on the website like that for a long time and it was very misleading. They said there was nothing they could do. I suggested that it should be pointed out to management. Think I might email, still feel a slight injustice, I'm a very loyal Omlet product buyer and promoter.
