We're in the process of upgrading our forum software at the moment and it's proving more challenging than expected. Before we can make the new version of the software live, we have to update all the posts in the database. Since there are some 1.1 million (!) posts and the update script provided with the new software is rather slow, it looks like this will take around 8 hours to complete. We began this process today, but abandoned it when it became apparent how long it would take. Our new plan is that we will take the forum down around 10.00pm tomorrow evening (Wednesday), run the updates overnight and then bring the forum back online Thursday morning.
