bluekarin
We have a p shaped bath in our new bathroom, but its a bit problematic. Its lovely and big for having a shower, but the curved glass screen does not keep in all the water and the floor gets soaked. Plus, the only straight bit of the bath is not long enough for both my dd mobility aids (bath seat and hand rail). So, we want to get a straight bath, no tap holes as the taps are on the wall, the waste goes out the end, so needs to be single ended (unless its not so difficult to change it so we could have a double ended bath), and white as the basin and loo are white. There are so many to choose from, and loads with rubbish reviews, so I thought I'd ask here. Thank you!
Valkyrie
Check the depth as sometimes they can be misleading. I have a very long, wide and deep bath - I still have to bend my knees a little to sink further under. I can't remember the name, sorry - it was a long time ago. But when we went on holiday there was a huge and deep bath with a shower over it. Hubby likes his shower and I ran myself some water, stood in it and it didn't even cover my ankles. Worse, I sat down and it didn't go anywhere near my knees! The overflow was set quite low - extremely low! But it didn't look like it until I tried to have a bath. Needless to say I got very cold and ended up having showers. Meh! But as soon as I got home it was bubble bath time! Also getting out is another thing to think about. The holiday one was a bit of a drop when getting out.
