Luvachicken Posted April 16, 2017 Share Posted April 16, 2017 I gave the girls a fresh drink of tonic this morning and noticed Polly was unbelievably quiet I popped the drink in, went round to the side of the Cube and opened the egg port door to see a very surprised Polly looking at me. I thought I had just caught her popping out her egg but then I thought she was ill because her beak was all runny and had aubiose stuck to it. I wiped her beak off and found it a bit yellow and a bit sticky Then I realised it was egg yolk Someone had a laid an egg, a bit harder than a really soft shell, and she thought she would eat it No wonder she looked so surprised when I opened the door.
