Cinnamon
Did any of you lot see it last night? Why is she not the size of a house with all that cream & eating puddings at midnight? Not fair
Mel (& Paul)
she probably has a personal trainer and only eats celery for the rest of the day............
redfrock
i did think she was a bit curvy (I so cannot talk) when I watched it on Monday night. Trouble is I kept getting wound up so won't be watching anymore ... she only washed the squid - all the vegetables just came out of the bag on to the plate and everything else too the use of the London Taxi for a pork chop and a pot of cream drove me nuts and the non stop smiling to the camera makes me want to throw things at the TV - it just seemed so false and the satin dressing-gown and not a healthy dish in sight and then again maybe I was simply in a mood .... Cinnamon
That Squid looked so delicious, didn't it? She did look curvy, but in a good way,I think.Just nice & womanly & healthy. Wish I had a figure like that ,& hair like that,& a kitchen like that..........
Egluntyne
iand the non stop smiling to the camera makes me want to throw things at the TV - it just seemed so false Got on my nerves too. She is too old to do the sweet little girly routine. Hands up all of you who would come in after an evening out and make from scratch a Toffee Croissant Pudding and then take it up to bed to eat. I hate to be unkind but her Dad needed a scale and polish. His teeth were difficult to look at.

He went on a crash diet years ago...I seem to remember he had a bit of a health (heart?) scare. He wrote a best selling diet book!

I totally agree - I kept squealing at Andy about them. Give me Gordon or Nigel (Slater) anyday. Gordon, well just because, although I wish he would take a bar of soap to his mouth sometimes and Nigel simply because his food is superb and not in the slightest bit pretentious. I think I own all of his books and use them more than anybody

Christian
I have to say I love Nigella Lawson! Yes, i do think that sometimes she plays up to the camera, but I love her simple, no nonsense, approach to food. Most of the recipes she does are sooo simple and easy. They make meals in minutes. Especially liked her 'Nigella Bites' series, repeated constandly on uk tv food! Could watch her for hours! Her egg shaped bowls (4 in a set) are gorgeous!!! As is most of her cookware. Now.....if we are talking cuties........James Martin
feemcg
I like Nigella too - of course she plays to the camera a bit - what tv chef doesn't . That squid looked delish. Someone mentioned Gordon - well I can't even watch the intro to the f word without going all...em....tingly
fairy&cake
i LOVE nigella, I adore her! I love the playing up to the camera!!! Shes beautiful , so why not? I wasnt too keen on the food last night, im a veggie. However the dessert was okish- not to the normal nigella standard though i feel. I also want a kitchen that big! OOOOh and does anyone know what Make that fridge was? At first i thought it was a SMEG [another love of my life] , but i think its not . Love Laura xxxx
Cinnamon
I love Nigella too - she is just so GLAM And I like James Martin. I like a man with a bit of something to get hold of Fave chefs for cooking, not looks are Hugh FW, Bill Granger, Nigel,Jamie,Hairy Bikers & the above 2. I did meet Gary Rhodes once & he was very, very charming, but not my type really. Don't even get me started on the evilness that is AWT. He lives down the way from me & is known around here for his vileness & mega ego

Cate in NZ
I'm torn by Nigella, I love the fact that she's a real, curvy woman and not a stick insect, and that she still looks so gorgeous. But I did find the programme a bit irritating, and all that cream, fried stuff and for goodness sake cooking and eating that ghastly sounding pud just before bed. As if I'll watch it again next week, see if it gets any better
