moochoo
I've wormed mine using Flubenvet simply because I had a possibly ill chicken so I was covering all options. I would say it's an important thing to do, just like with cats and dogs. The chooks are kept outside and could potentially catch worms and parasites from visiting garden birds. There are other wormers you can use, verm x is often mentioned on the forum.
xChicken04x
Our little Lacey had worms and i would definatly say they do need worming, mainly because it is unfair if they are not well like Lacey was. She was really ill and very unhappy. I would do it to be on the safe side. xx
Snowy
It's a good idea to worm them, especially if they free range. They can pick up parasite eggs from eating worms, slugs and snails.
Jules.
worming is a doddle with verm-x. a little scoop for 3 days each month in their food- I put it in their treat bowl with their porridge & they gobble it up
