Louise
I travel to London for work a fair bit there and back in a day so I know what I am letting myself in for (well the travelling bit )
Guest
I understand that there are rumours of a bigger model being released in the new year, plus a run extension. HopefullyJames will tell us something about this when we meet up in January. I think you are going to have to set up a web cast for this meeting, then we can all be there! Louise
Shona is there no way of coming I can always pick you up and drop you off for flights. I didn't think it possible until I really looked into it and it is a long day but I have had much longer ones. Go on have a think about it
Popcorn
Not to poke my nose in or discourage a fab idea Louise.....but if Shona is feeling anything like I felt in my first trimester, travelling is the last thing you need, as well as trying to stay awake after 2pm! Come to think of it, I'm still like that now in my second trimester.....maybe it was just me then
Louise
No pressure intended Shona I just thought it would be good fun Only if you feel up to it
Guest
Poor Gina, the morning sickness and tiredness can be a nightmare - not sure if it's better or worse having experienced it all before - I know exactly what to expect - can't wait for the heartburn and swollen ankles to kick in ...... ) Although, actually, I feel just dandy at the moment, but I'm just not a very good flyer - only done it once (sorry twice, because you can't walk home from Mexico ), and I NEVER want to repeat the experience again - yes, I know I'm a big wimp! I'll just have to wait till you all make the journey up north.........
buffie
My name is Buffie and I am a regular eglu cleaner, every week come rain or shine I feel guilty if I don't the girls also have a foot wash with ecover and a beak clean. It's not a nice thing now it's soggy and damp though Look forward to the sunny days and them being out and about more. BBx
Cate in NZ
I agree with the foot wash bit Buffie, they do get such mucky feet don't they, now that the ground's so damp & muddy? Daughter has taken to washing their feet most days, but they still get mucky. They do seem to like the foot washing attention though. Zola is our muckiest chicken though, so much so that she's recently acquired the title Princess Zola Filthy Feet Daughter again Weekly scrub downs for the eglu here, twice weekly poo tray emptying.... but scant attention to beaks I'm afraid
buffie
Just seen about other eglu's coming out interesting!! i posted somewhere that a spare set of wooden bars makes it more simple. I still wash the ones I remove at the time but they get dried naturally and I just pop new clean ones in. Just going to clean the tray as that's a few days old BBx

Cate in NZ
Mine need cleaning today, but it's cold and raining, and I want to stay tucked up in the warm. Maybe I could just empty the poo tray quickly and wipe round the nesting box , save a proper clean for next week
