ajm200
Hi, Please can you tell me roughly how much you pay for small holders crumble or pellets in tack shops and what the shelf life is like. Suspect I would only need small 4kg bags. Still looking for an easy ongoing way of obtaining decent feed. The kids have pointed out that Amazon can deliver it on a subscription to Prime customers for 11.95 for 4kg. I know it probably has a big mark up as they just build postage into the price. It isn’t really free despite the upfront fee.
mullethunter
I don’t use Smallholders but I pay £10.20 for Marriages from Mole Valley Farmers (own brand are £7.20).

If that’s a 4kg bag then Amazon’s price isn’t too bad. Thank you
mullethunter
No sorry that’s a 20kg bag!! As long as you can keep them dry and have the space I wouldn’t worry about buying a full sized (20kg) sack - it’ll work our much cheaper.
