SeramaSilly
Hi there, Just a little confused about Invermectin. Does it treat for worms as well as creepy crawlies??
Cat tails
Yes, it is a wormer. Over here vets can prescribe it for chickens. I get an oral wormer with ivermectin, but have used the skin drops in the past too.

Cat tails
According to this site (scroll all the way down) ivermectin doesn’t work against ceacal worms. When in doubt contact your vet and see if you can do a worm count before you start worming.

I usually do as my vet tells me that Ivermectin isn't as broad spectrum as Flubenvet
Lewis
Yes Ivermectin will kill most external and internal parasites - no need to use Flubenvet as well ‘cos Ivermectin is broad spectrum. I did mine last week as I spotted Red Mite on a broody, won’t do them again until next year unless I spot anything.
