Karen & co.
OH and eldest son went to the Wirrel this morning so that Daniel could play rugby, and my eldest daughter is in Spain on an exchange Well after lots of umming and ahhing, I decided to take youngest son and daughter to the Wenlas collection for my birthday And whilst we were there I was persuaded to get three new chooks by the children As if I needed my arm twisting We now have Daisy a black/red araucana, Lavender a lavender araucana, and Boots (named by my daughter) a black cochin They are all about 18/19 weeks old. I thought as we had gone to visit, it would have been rude not to buy something karen x

Karen & co.
Congratulations. All those in two Eglu's? actually tonight there are 9 in one eglu all squashed together I have tried moving them about to spread them out, but they just make a fuss and go back into the one The 3 new girls are in a temporary coop set up in the big run with the other girls, so they are together but not if that makes sense I am hoping to put them all together on Thursday when I have a day off to keep an eye. karen x

chrisnrob
We went to Wernlas for my bithday too We didn't buy any more girls but did have a great time looking at all of the different breeds. We ended up going back to reception several times for more pots of corn so that we could feed them all. Did you go and see the babies too? What about the Transylvanian Naked Necks - they're a funny looking bunch aren't they!! Have added a couple of pics to our gallery (see below) Out of interest, did you mention that you have Eglus? We did and the chap there seemed a bit dismissive... Rob
Egluntyne
Karen, get a photobucket account. It will guide you through the uploading process, etc and you just copy the img code and paste it here. Simple pimple.

Helen&Lee
Out of interest, did you mention that you have Eglus? We did and the chap there seemed a bit dismissive... Rob We went to Wernlas in August (seemed the obvious choice as we are only about 30mins away) and they were exactly like that - it fact it put us off buying...... I was a bit dubious anyway as I had phoned a month before having got a date for the arrival of our cube and explained to the woman that we were having the cube + 4 chooks ...Told her we wanted some more chooks - she asked the size of the cube and told me never to believe the number of chooks a company told you would fit in - and that she would put no more than 6 in! So, 7 chooks later every night I shut them in looking at that spare room inside the cube... Helen
