I just want to wish you all a 'happy christmas day' a little early, as I won't be around for the next 7 days. We're off on our jollies early on Sunday morning.

Just think - this time next week it will be Christmas Eve I am sitting here listening to "old" Christmas songs - Silver Bells, White Christmas etc. - very nostalgic and getting quite excited about Christmas (even if MIL is coming)

It'll all be different next year, with a little one to disrupt the peace, pull the baubles off the Christmas tree and demand cuddles at the same time that you want to eat Christmas dinner Every bit as special (arguably more so) but nothing's ever the same again once a baby arrives.
