Lesley
I hate driving in snow. I tend to concentrate on the flakes hitting the windscreen I forget to blink and my eyes dry up. I also grit my teeth.... must look quite a scary sight. Also I always start humming or singing the Snowman song, the one Aled whatisface sang

The Dogmother
Still no snow here, but another beautiful, bright and bitterly cold day. Theer must be snow in one of the villages though, as there are cars in my road with some on.

Lesley
We haven't got any either Clare. Just a shower of snow/hail yesterday as I got home. Glorious sunshine but bitterly cold here today.
kalikoo
We've had quite a bit of snow here last night, was chaos outside my house this morning, I live on a hill with a Nursery School at the top and had about ten cars stuck, there were cars sliding all over the place, did'nt get the kids to school unitl ten. Couldn not wait to let the girls out of the run to see their reaction to the snow (this is the first snow we have had since we got them a year ago) but they were not phased at all, loved the chicken prints though look like little arrow directions all over the garden. SarahJo
Nice avatar Kalikoo ...... we had snow here this morning, then it melted ... then it tried again, and again ... and a wee bit more. UNTIL ..... about an hour ago when it belted down .. now its all white and pretty again. . Skies have now cleared ... so it will freeze and possibly snow more later tonight/early morning, so we can all play ice hockey in our cars. The Dogmother
We had snow from 5pm for half an hour, quite fast, but only little bits, not proper flakes. It's still there, but the sky is clear now and it's so cold.
ali-s
Little flurries of snow again today. The roads are very dangerous at the moment. Jack's school bus didn't turn up today as a lorry had jacknifed across the road. Instead of phoning me at work to take him to school he decided to go sledging with his friends. Cate in NZ
Is there much snow with those of you in Scotland today? I saw a bit of Breakfast TV this morning and they had a reporter in Aberdeen somewhere, being filmed in deep snow and heavy snowfall. It looked fantastic , although she did also say it was -6 at the time, so perhaps not so good They also showed parts of Sussex with a light snow covering, nice, but nowhere near as impressive I have to say. Unsuprisingly, still no snow here. I've given up on it for this year now, but am getting bored with being cold- I want spring to hurry up now so that I can get out in the garden
