buffie
Mine counts all my steps Lesley. If yours doesn't then remember just see your usual running total and see if you can add more. If any of you want to post on here with your weekly total great, if not then also great, if you want to pm me your totals for me to add up then I will post our totals as a lump. MOTIVATION!! It doesn't matter how small the change the idea is to see if you can add a few more and I know you'll feel the sense of achievement and it also makes you feel back in control after the Christmas january Blues. I leave things upstairs and go back up to get them, that adds steps too Last night daisie was sick , do not feed rasks so could have done without going up and down 4 times from 12am to 4am, should have put my pedometer on BBx

Clare, of course I had the kettle on for you, but son and daughter hogged PC all evening (I'd never do that!) so I couldn't let you know. Well done though, keep it up. The Dogmother
You'll have to get a wireless connection and your own laptop like Clare* - she writes her evening posts sitting in bed

Sheilaz
Does the bike count steps though Nicola?
buffie
No steps probably won't be counted on a bike, you can run on a bouncer though (mini trampoline) Don't worry Nicola as those two activies tie together and make a well done you! This is long term not fad sooo don't give yourselves a hard time. I did an enforced pre work evening walk, Mikey finished at 6pm and went out round the village for 25 mins walking . You can do it!! Guest
You are good Buffie. Keep telling what you manage - it is inspiring! Nicola - don't feel bad. I've managed 3700 today, less than half what I managed yesterday. But I have ironed, cleaned the eglu and did some singing for an hour. I hope that counts! (singing uses every muscle in your body and cleanses the lungs!) I also found that cycling doesn't get counted unless you ride on a bumpy road
Nicola H
Oh that must be it I will check if my counter moves on when I am on the bike tomorrow.........I won't give up just felt a little disappointed now I need to improve and I will........... Keep up the good work everybody I feel fitter so it must be doing some good.

Guest
It's very good for your lungs and back muscles. Also gives you quite a pronounced diaphragm, which is my excuse for the bulging midriff You may not want that!
Lesley
It would get lost in all the other bulges!
The Dogmother
Wincyette PJ's You know me too well Lesley! I hate being cold at night, and as I have low blood pressure, I get cold when I'm asleep - having the window open doesn't help either So at the moment I have Thermal vest, brushed cotton PJs (children's ones), and socks I need less at the weekend when Phil stays as he radiates heat - less said about that the better Oh, and Buffie, did you se the article in the Telegraph today about detoxing your soul - emotional detox. Might be interesting for your work.
Popcorn
OOOOOooooooooo Clare - I'd suffocate in that lot. I have to be cool in bed and the window HAS to be open. I hate waking up in the night feeling clammy, and then have to stick a foot or whole leg out the bed to cool down. You're like my Mum - she gets dressed to go to bed too a nice cotton nighty/PJ's and a hot water bottle is all you need
