Richard
I read Egluntine's posting, and then the signature. *Pickle the BHWT Sponsored Hen* And I thought - whats all that about, why would I want to pickle a hen? And then I realised - Pickle must be the hen's name. I hope it is ... I need help

I've got it waiting in the wings.....I can't walk past Waterstones when they have a 3 for 2 offer. Will start it as soon as I've finished Kim's book. Tina C
I've just finished reading The Fox Busters by Dick King-Smith to my 7 yr-old. Fab book already but now that we have hens it read even better (apologies for my Grammar). Lucy We've got that - its great isn't it? Layla has Clever Duck by Dick King Smith as her school reading book at present. Its been quite a struggle as its the first 'proper' book she has tackled all on her own and the grammar and language used is quite sophisticated but only one and a half chapters to go. I am reading The Chocolate Lovers Club by Carole Matthews, having just read all the Harry Potters over the last couple of months. Went to Carole's book launch in September but I HAD to get through the Harry Potters before diving into the chick lit. Am following this thread as wondering what to read next.
