Yes, that you're just a big kid! My recommendations are all chicken books and "Independence Day" ! Doesn't say a lot for me, does it! Chicken obsessed! Poached Egg Paul
Last year for Christmas I received the Aggie and Kim 'how to clean your house' book from my parents. I think they were trying to tell me something! They always have some sort of comment when they come to visit, such as "i see that stain on the carpet is still there!" I'm afraid that's my own fault for getting cream carpet before I decided to get dogs and chickens!
Mel (& Paul)
Yup, with chickens iand woggles ts best to stick to wood or tiled floors I've been reccomended a book to attracting wildlife to the garden and the dvd of the ashes tour
Poached Egg Paul
I think in spring I will pull up the carpet downstairs and think about putting something else down. I am thinking also of having a litter of puppies later this year or beginning next year (I mean the dog will have the litter not me ) and so knowing how messy puppies are it would be a much better idea to have some sort of tiles. I don't want anything too expensive though.

The Dogmother
Me and a few others who had advance notice on the RC forum I won't be doing it next time HFW brings out a book - I'll wait until it's half price or less in WHS There's a discount bookshop near us called The Works - they always get this type of book (and many others too) in at half price or less, if you can bear to wait a couple of months. I bought a gorgeous Hubble telescope book for Phil at Christmas - wasn't cheap, and it's now half price
