Lesley
I told Lauren that we can't have anything which we can't eat - she threw back, over her shoulder...."well, you can eat horses - they do in France"
Linda
I told Lauren that we can't have anything which we can't eat - she threw back, over her shoulder...."well, you can eat horses - they do in France" They certainly know it when they're perfectly right, don't they! Martin B
He he! The things children say! I think if you got a couple of donkeys they could mow the lawn for you! ---Martin---

Yup! Rosie does that too, and it gets increasingly difficult to bluff them as they get older.

clare*
Jealous jealous jealous is all I can say. How lovely Lesley. Fields not a garden to run around in. Heaven No neighbours. That is my dream too, one day The children look so happy Yes I think you should definitely have a pony or two
Mrs Frugal
No neighbours and so much space would suit us perfectly too! The boys would love running around like that. It's perfect!
clare*
I feel quite depressed now My husband works up near Leeds. Every time we all go for a weekend away up there he keeps telling me that we could probably afford a house with some land for what we would sell ours for south. Maybe I'll have to take him a bit more seriously Just the thought of no booming stereo and cars revving in the early hours of the morning.
The Dogmother
I've got new neighbours moving today - a young couple, let's hope that they don't do loads of parties . They've got so much work to do on that house that they won't have any energy left for parties!

Chicken on a mission
I have an idea So many of us have expressed ours views that Lesley's new home would be the perfect life for us. So how about all of us moving in with her? Perfect!

Chicken on a mission
The best bit of my cunning plan is that Lesley is so busy getting settled that she won't notice this rallying cry until it is too late Race you there
The Dogmother
I think that mel tried to start a party up there when Lesley first announced it, but she didn't get far - you might fare better with her otherwise occupied. Tell you what COAM, I'll distract her on Saturday and you can sneak the wagons in the back way One of Mel's weasels!
