little chickadee
Hi all. OH has his birthday in january, so I have to think about birthday presents now! He's wanted a pressure washer for ages, but there are so many different kinds, I thought someone might be able to recommend something. He wants to be able to clean the car, paths and eglu . Any ideas?
UkButton
For a decent pressure washer you can't go wrong with a Karcher. Piece of advice... your looking for high pressure and high flow rate. Otherwise you'll just get a high pressure mist out the end.
chrisnrob
Last year Argos were selling Karcher pressure washers in their sale at very cheap prices! The sale starts online on Boxing Day... Rob
feemcg
Hi, we have a Karcher, not sure of the model, I'd need to go out to the garage, but it's the one in Argos that's £99.99 but got it in a B&Q special for £79.99 - i'ts great for the eglus and powerful enough to get staining off the paths, brickwork etc. We asked around and were advised to get one at this price or above as the cheaper ones weren't up to much. Egluntyne
Mine is a Karcher. I've had it a few years. It does the job well. My only reservation is that it is VERY heavy. Maybe the newer ones are lighter.
Tessa the Duchess
I bought the cheapest one in Argos, was around £30 I think. Works a treat, great for decking, patios and kids outdoor toys etc., The only thing I find is that if you use it a lot the vibrations make your arm go numb Tessa
Jules.
Our pressure washer was from B&Q. It cost about a tenner a few months ago. It works great, & is not heavy.
Laura & CTB
I've had a Karcher for a few years - not that heavy and also able to buy the iron attachment for easy steam ironing. I have tiled floors everywhere and it's a godsend.

The Dogmother
I don't know what model it is, but it's so heavy to lug down from the attic that I don't often use it!
