missuscluck
Have fun. I hope it all goes well and that they get at least a little sleep. Katies room will be wall to wall blow up mattereses and giggling girls. Im just looking forward to the chocolate fountain. Aldi bargin £14.99. Figured it was cheaper than the 'chocolate party' our local play barn are advertizing.

Ziggy
Chocolate fountains are great... my only problem with them is you have to have quite a few people around to eat it, as there has to be quite a lot of chocolate in the fountain for it to work... delicious though... Great cake too... that's one really cute penguin!!!

Eh? A lot of chocolate - and you have to have people round? Not a situation I've ever found myself in .

Olly
Brilliant cake - can I ask, was that Supercook or similar (readymade fondant)? And did you put anything on the cake first, i.e. brush it with jam, before you put the icing on? I've rashly volunteered to do a frog cake for my friend's 30th birthday. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do, but you're inspiring me.
missuscluck
yes it is supercook ready rolled icing over the top. You can stick it to the cake with melted jam or a thin spread of butter icing. The penguin is made from a packet of ready colourd icing. A big cheat I think.
